Everyone Enjoys beautiful plants and a lovely garden. It is said, "April showers bring May flowers." We always anticipate the beauty of spring. With May being Gardening for Wildlife Month, we invited Craig Houin of Full Moon Gardens Nursery as our guest speaker for our May luncheon. He will share the story of Full Moon Gardens, and inform us of their spring offerings, plants that attract pollinators, (hummingbirds, butterflies, etc.), and plants that thrive in our area. He will answer questions and have a small display of some of the items found at his unique nursery. Come enjoy learning from Craig's gardening tips and sharing a good time with friends.

Northlake Newcomers May Luncheon – Full Moon Gardens Nursery May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM.  It will be held at Tchefuncta Country Club, 2 Pine Crest Dr. Covington 70433. Doors open at 10:00 AM.

Prospective members or members may make luncheon reservations by either paying $35 by the Venmo QR code or by sending a check for $35 made out to Northlake Newcomers Club to Georgia DiFranco, 820 Norval Street, Mandeville, LA 70448.

If you are bringing a guest, please include her/his name. Checks must be received no later than Friday, May 2. Payment made through Venmo must be received by 12 noon on May 2.

No admittance without a reservation.

Please note: No refunds and no “To Go” lunches.  Can't wait to see you there!

Food and personal care items that you donate this month will be delivered to Covington Food Bank. Thank You for all your generosity throughout this year!

Philanthropic Committee: 

April Luncheon is/was our MAIN EVENT fundraiser for the Northshore Humane Society! The Philanthropic committee will present our donation to the representative for Northshore Humane Society. The donation was from the fundraising efforts of our Charity Raffle and Bingo in April.
